Thanks for the resources Csaba Apagyi! This helped simplify the workflow by allowing full functionality for the GSuite account within the personal Gmail.

Receiving emails — I used the forwarding solution as well that Benoît Rouleau mentions, in order to receive email sent to my GSuite account, within my personal Gmail.

Sending email — Under Accounts and Imports I used the Send mail as feature with a specific app password generated using Sign in using App Passwords.
