Thank you for taking the time and effort to make these comparisons @Miguel Ángel Ruiz López! I am interested in how the speed stacks up between Glide and Coil now that it is one year later. Per Coil’s author, Colin White’s comment, there has been a lot of improvement and updates since the first iteration of Coil.

I’m rooting for Coil, as it’s implementation is fast and simple. At the end of the day, the user is the most important, and subtle speed differences may be consciously noticed in load times so this is also to be considered.
