I am writing this on Saturday afternoon PST when BTC has surpassed the $500 mark for the first time in almost 2 years.

However, the tipping point for me being interested in Ethereum in this article was taking a look at how to write a simple function in BTC vs. Ethereum. I cannot see myself deconstructing the BTC language of writing code anytime soon. Ethereum seems like it would have a much flatter learning curve. As more developers build for ETH a strong developer community will help progress the network.

My plan moving forward will consist of buying both BTC and beginning to buy Etherium with a higher ratio of investment on the ladder.

I made a gDoc for my notes @ bit.ly/ether-guide.
